Julia and Philipp Rey were a dynamic dance team who had an edgy, angular quality to their skating. Voidy, with a European flair (they were born in Germany) the siblings would make you sit up and take notice. I found them very challenging to shoot. In this photo, I like all the lines and angles they make. Nothing is soft or gentle about the pose.

I miss them.
